A beautiful New Style tetradrachm from Athens

ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.90 g, 12 h), Hera..., Aristoph..., and Aristok..., magistrates, 136/5. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos and long tendril on the bowl, and with the foreparts of four horses above the visor. Rev. A-ΘE / HPA / API-ΣΤΟΦ / ΑΡΙΣΤ/ΟΚ Owl standing facing on Amphora; to left, upright club, lion skin, and bowcase; on amphora, Μ; in exergue, HP; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 340a. Fresh and attractive. Light marks and minor deposits, otherwise, extremely fine.
